IT Client Hardware Lifecycle Engineer with German

For one of our Clients – global technology company, delivering an integrated portfolio of products, solutions and services – we are looking for IT Client Hardware Lifecycle Engineer with German language.

We are looking for:

• Completed studies in the field of business/computer science or an apprenticeship in the field of information technology with several years of professional experience or comparable qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) desirable
• Experience with current Microsoft operating systems and Windows installation technologies, also in the enterprise environment, as well as with imaging tools OSD/MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) required
• Knowledge with Microsoft Intune/Microsoft Azure as well as AD server support
• Experience in the development of client systems in complex IT landscapes (Windows 10)
• Knowledge in the use of scripting tools such as VB (Visual Basic) or Power Shell desirable
• Excellent English and German Language

How does your day look like?

• Solving incidents and problems in connection with equipment and software of the end user computing environment in the 3rd level area
• Preparing and ensuring the fully automated installation and integration of new hardware into operations
• Integration of drivers, firmware/BIOS into the standard clients as well as hardware modification and phasing out under consideration of the end-of-life cycle
• Conceptual design of standard system configurations (client build, OS imaging)
• Execution and documentation of user and system acceptance tests
• Perform ongoing analysis to verify client applications and configurations against the client reference model and compatibility
• Implementing measures to eliminate vulnerabilities and performing IT operations in accordance with the agreed SLAs
