Front-end Web Developer

Full-time position for an American-based Company, an award-winning agency and a leading partner for Sitecore is building a development team in Sofia, Bulgaria who will work closely with the U.S. project teams. The Company is currently looking for an experienced Front-end Developer to work on various interesting projects focused on industries such as healthcare and financial services.

Fully Remote.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English language – strong written and verbal communication, as well as high level of personal organization;
• They are looking for precise candidates who can multi-task, have strong problem-solving skills and passion for front-end programming;
• Strong organizational skills on completing scheduled tasks within budget hours and ability to meet deadlines are essential requirements;
• Teamwork and ability to work well with project teams, as well as interface with clients as needed;
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Web production and should be able to demonstrate capabilities that are comparable to the company standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Valid HTML/CSS Template creation;
• Maintenance of existing sites, creation of new display templates, developing new features or fixing bugs;
• Ability to figure out the structure of a site;
• Debugging front-end code;
• Wireframe and mockup review before site build begins in order to catch potential issues;
• Deep QA process, addressing fixes logged by the design, technical and account management departments;
• Striving to be on top of current front-end best practices.

A must haves for the Applicants:

• HTML/CSS;
• JavaScript;
• Web Standards based templated production in a fast-paced environment;
• Cross-browser compatibility.
  
  Skills considered an advantage:
• Handlebars or similar HTML templating systems;
• Adobe Photoshop;
• CSS Preprocessors (Sass, Less, etc.);
• Gulp, Webpack, Grunt or other front-end build tools;
• BEM, SMACCS, “Object Oriented CSS” and other CSS conventions;
• Ability to write and work with existing JavaScript and jQuery;
• Front-end code debugging tools like Chrome Dev Tools;
• Git/Version Control Experience;
• Search Engine Optimization Techniques;
• CMS template integration;
• Mobile and responsive Web Design;
• Accessibility concepts and regulations such as WCAG and Section 508.
