Java Team Lead - remote

We are currently looking for an experienced Java Team Lead who’ll be leading a brand-new team of a company, specializing in green energy sphere.

The company is a global leader in smart energy technology and successfully develops, builds and operates solar facilities across worldwide. It was founded twelve years ago and it is also a very successful company with а remarkable growth rate – it doubled the number of its employees and the amount of installed systems in the last three years.

What you will be doing:
As a Java Team Lead your work will include designing and developing high-volume applications, implementing features, unit testing them and doing bug fixes. As a Java Team Lead you’ll be responsible for all phases of the development lifecycle. You will work in a team of developers that will join the efforts on those tasks. You will also do code reviews to other team members to keep the code quality high, and etc.

Ideally, your skills will include:

• 5+ years of a professional experience with Java and Spring framework;
• 2+ years of a management experience, leading a team;
• Knowledge of Java depths such as Class-loading, Memory management, Transaction management;
• Comprehensive expertise with SQL/Data access optimization;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or a relevant major;
• Thinking out of the box, creativity, and continuous improvement attitude;
• Flexible, adaptable, open to meet the change and acquire new knowledge and skills.

Bonus points:

• Knowledge of Kafka.
